So, um… I never thought I’d be writing an erotic centaur tale this year… or ANY year! But when you have readers who like their sexual pairings a little different from the norm, and author friends who basically drop you right in it, who knows what could happen!
This is the post in my facebook group, Dark Halos, that started it all *side-eyeing Linda*:
One of my favorite authors, Nora Ash, and I both ended up with a challenge to write a centaur smut story (she commented in encouragement, so I dragged her into it hoping she would write it INSTEAD… but no, she wasn’t so kind! lol) and that’s how this little tale called Like Midnight came about.
It had to go on hold for a while because this all happened while I was still working on Own To Obey but I got started over the last week or so and had a ton of fun working on it!
One thing you should know: I have discovered through this process that I am terrible at writing pure smut! Seriously, my first attempt was over a thousand words with zero sexual activity LOL! Nora had to remind me what we were supposed to be doing. And I still couldn’t stick to pure smut–this is the closest I could get!
So I hope you enjoy this for what it is, and if you like it, do comment and share! (But please, no request for unicorns, bigfoot or anything else–I have a series to finish! 🙂

Awesome stuff, I could read a whole book of it. I love so much the idea of the match, that could be a legit centaur’s trope (or is it already one? I couldn’t find that much centaurs stories ’round here) and the junk was at the RIGHT place, yes gawd

Yaaay! I’m a sucker for a strong yet attentive Alpha in any genre. I absolutely loved this story, as if you could write something that I wouldn’t 😏 The story immediately pulls you in and holds you captive. I had to keep reminding myself this was a short story, as my darker side wanted the story to drag out more while he took her, but eventually I turned into a mush-ball at how concerned he became for her once he was able to regain control by round two lol. It was of course the pièce de résistance for me seeing the tender and protective side of him once they reached the place for matches and again had to remind myself this was a short smut only story (whelp🙄😞🤭)

Loved the story! I want more! I’d like her to fight the match and then for him woo her! Also, it would be nice if he could shift since I couldn’t quite figure out how they fit. He’d have to have like a tiny torso or a tiny horse body…or maybe she’s incredibly tall? This sounds like it could be a whole novel. At some point she should be fighting to get her throne back from her sister.

This was really well written. I also use other sources for reading erotica but this story really reeled me in – lol.
Centaurs are my favorite and it’s a bummer that there’s not a lot of good *male* centaur content out there.
